Getting Started

Step 1: Mail Test

Send a normail email (plain text) from your internal email system to an external account (hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc.) This allows us to see if the traffic from your mail server is moving correctly through the Entrusted Mail Encryption Cloud and on to its proper destination.
Log onto your external email account to see if the email was received without problems.

Reply to this email. This will allow us to make sure that you are receiving email properly to your internal email system.

Step 2: Email Encryption Keyword Test

If you selected a Subject Line Keyword Policy during your account setup, you can use this to confirm that encryption is active.

Send an e-mail from your internal email system to an external email account (hotmail, yahoo, Gmail, etc.), using the keyword that you chose during setup. If you selected "Default", the keyword is "Secure" as the last word in the subject line. If you did not select a subject line keyword but would like to add one, email us at support@filink.com

Log into your external email account to see if you received a notification message for pick up of secure message like the one below.

Click on the link within the notification message, and follow the steps to set up a username and password on the portal. Click here for help logging into the portal.

Once in the portal, having gone through the log in process, reply back to the secure message.  This will test the encrypted reply mail flow.

Send your reply by clicking on the "Reply" button.
